Hi you guys!!
Gosh It's been such a long time since I've last been on here. I have missed you guys, and I hope all of you have been doing well! As for me, I've mostly been focusing on my studies lately. I've done research on the behaviour of dogs, which I'm almost finished with right now. So soon I'll have more time to draw again! It'll take some time to get my account back in order, so bear with me haha I have finished a few drawings in the past few months, so I will upload those soon!

I would also like to thank Davinia1982 sooooo much for giving a premium membership!! More than enough reason to feature her work in this journal, as a small thank you
It'll take some time before I'll understand how all this extra stuff works, I'm not that handy when it comes to technical stuff

Hi you guys! Gosh it's been so long since I've last been on dA It turns out the third year of vet school is a bit more busy than I expected.. I've started a drawing around june and haven't even had the chance to finish it. So besides being busy I'm just fine We had a halloween party this weekend, which was pretty great I can't wait until christmas holidays, cause I know for sure I'll have time to draw then.
Wow.. what else have I been up to this past month.. I've been to a Train concert, which was so much fun I'll also be going to see Maroon 5 in february, and there's a symposium on behavioural biology in a couple of weeks with Jane Goodall and Irene Pepperberg So lots of things to look forward to.
So that's about everything, a bit of a short update haha So how've you guys been doing? Hope everything's great

Gosh, it's been such a long time since I last updated my journal As a short update.. things have been going steadily forward at home. It's still not what it used to be, but I think it's getting better.. I've been trying to make more time for drawing, especially now that I've got a few weeks off, and no exams and such to worry about I'll be leaving for Norway in two weeks, but I've always been perfectly able to find time to draw on holidays, so I think you'll be seeing more of me in the coming weeks

I uploaded my new drawing 'play' only a few days ago, and when I got on dA today I was just overwhelmed by all the messages in my inbox Thank you all so much for the nice comments and the faves, it really made my day
As it is, I've always tried to thank everyone individually, cause I really want you guys to know how much I appreciate it when you fave my work. And I never thought that it would ever come to the point where I'd not have enough time to do so.. but as it is, I've been busy for 3 hours last time, and I realised it just takes too much time I don't want you guys to think I don't notice when you fave my work, or that I don't appreciate it, cause I do So I'd like to use this journal to thank all you guys for the faves! It makes me so happy to see so many people like my work, thank you so much!

I think I'll be on dA again later this week, but if I don't get the chance to, I just wanted to wish you guys a great vacation! I hope the weather's as nice where you are as it is over here

Hi you guys! I'm sorry I haven't been real active on here lately.. Things have kind of escalated at home, and I find I'm having trouble getting through the normal stuff. So I didn't really have much time to be on DA much
I'm not going to bother you guys with the specifics of this whole situation, but I just wanted to explain why I'm suddenly not on more than maybe once a week. So it might take a while for me to answer comments and notes. Don't worry though, I'll make sure I do
I've got this whole week off, so I have a bit of time to organise my thoughts, and I'm hoping I'll also have time to draw really soon It feels like forever since I've last drawn anything

For the first time since I can remember we've had some real snowfall in Holland! Not so great when it comes to public transport, but I just can't help loving snow It's not sure if we'll have a white christmas this year, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed

I've also decided to make my own christmas cards this year, so I made a drawing of a Friesian in the snow. Not my best decision, that's for sure. If there's something I find difficult it's drawing black horses and snow, and I've never drawn a fir tree in my life And since I could print it on A6 size I didn't really spend much time on any details.. So when I saw it on my computer screen I found the result to be.. well.. horrible It still looks okay on A6 size, but I'm not brave enough to put it on dA
I have made a few pictures near my home town though, so you guys can see when Holland looks like when it's a real winter. Unless you live in Holland, cause then you've already seen it

So in case I don't get the chance to update my journal before friday, I'd like to wish you guys a very happy christmas!! I hope you're having as much fun as I am preparing for christmas. It might be stressful, but don't forget the fun part of it, cause that's what it's all about
